Lifetime Appreciation Award 2023
On March 18, 2023, I was honored by my peers and recieved a Lifetime Appreciation Award. Thank you for recognizing my dedication to Chiropractic practice. Thank you for recognizing my efforts on behalf of patients, and for educating others about the difference it makes for healthier, pain-free living. Thank you, Laurie, for helping me deliver help to patients through your support and office management efforts.
A few excerpts from the Award ceremony that took place at the end of the Synergy Conference held by Tools of Practice:
"After graduating with a degree in Forest Biology, College of Environmental Environmental Biology, Syracuse NY, I went to Central Park, NYC, where I was one of the first park rangers. From there, I went to Oregon. I feel blessed that my life's journey took me to Portland Oregon. I found I missed people more than doing remote work in the woods where a phone was 10 miles away. A friend introduced me to Chiropractic, being taught at University of Western States".
"I love using my hands, that is what I really like about Chiropractic. I love using my hands to make people feel better, to promote health, keep them away from drugs and help avoid surgery. How do you explain the satisfaction of getting people out of pain? improving their overall health, and yes, improving spinal health. Especially as we age, it is incredible what it does to keep us going. I use other techniques, but I still love to adjust with my hands. My professor said: "When in doubt, adjust", that was so profound to me. Chiropractic works, it is something special and there is nothing like it".
